It is created by the river Mumlava and overcomes up to 12 m high steps formed by rock blocks in the granite riverbed. Directly below the waterfall, but also elsewhere in the riverbed, you can find the so-called Devil's Eyes with a diameter of up to 6 m. The largest is a waterfall during the spring thaw. On the contrary, in winter it very often freezes and becomes an icefall - a captivating work created by water and frost. It is one of the most watery waterfalls in the Czech Republic.
