on the basis of Act No. 266/1994 Coll., on Railways, as amended, and pursuant to Section 49 (1) of Decree No. 175/2000 Coll., on Transport Regulations for Public Railway and Road Passenger Transport (hereinafter referred to as Transport Regulations) issues contractual transport conditions for public railway passenger transport on the cableway Horní Domky.
Art. 1 - General provisions
The contractual transport conditions apply to the regular transport of persons, luggage, live animals and others on the cableway Horní Domky and set the conditions for this transport.
Based on the concluded transport contract, the passenger is obliged to observe the conditions of the Transport Regulations, these contractual transport conditions and the fare price list.
Persons who operate the cableway and are involved in public railway passenger transport (authorized by the carrier) are provided with a license or clearly identified by the carrier, they are entitled to give instructions and orders to passengers to ensure their safety and to ensure the safety and flow of traffic.
The carrier informs passengers about transport and its changes at the ticket offices and turnstiles.
Art. 2 - Formation and performance of the passenger transport contract
The transport contract is concluded if the passenger exercises his right to transport from the travel card by entering the cableway or by entering a designated area accessible only with a valid travel card.
For the transport on the cableway Horní Domky, only a valid travel card issued by the cash desk.
Art. 3 - Travel card
The passenger is obliged to carry the valid travel card throughout the performance of the transport contract, and he shall present it during the ticket inspection.
A valid ticket according to the current offer is an eligible travel card.
The authorized person of the carrier is entitled to invalidate (block) the travel card in cases:
a) it is damaged in such a way that it does not show the data necessary to check the correctness of its use,
b) the data on it do not correspond to reality or has been changed without authorisation;
c) it is used by an unauthorized person (the photograph does not correspond, the adult passenger is travelling with a child ticket, etc.)
d) its period of validity has expired
e) is used by a person who violates the contractual transport conditions
According to the Transport Regulations of Spartak Rokytnice, a.s. only one person may use one ski pass for the duration of its validity. During the first pass through the turnstile, a photo of the holder is assigned to the ski pass and it is then compared with the images at the next pass. In case of violation of the Transport Regulations, the ski pass will be blocked without the possibility of its renewal and any accidental case of mistaken identity will not be considered.
SEASON TICKETS: All season tickets are issued with a name; they are provided with a photo of the ticket user and they are not transferable! If the season ticket is misused, the holder is at risk of blocking the card.
Art. 4 - Payment of fare
Passengers pay a fare in the amount set in the tariff for a single ticket or a commutation ticket.
Types of travel cards and fares are set in price lists (at ticket offices, printed price lists, www.skiroky.cz).
The ticket is valid if it is an original which is valid on the cableway Horní Domky.
The passenger is obliged to have a valid ticket for the intended transport before getting on the cableway.
The value of the fare returned is determined by the ratio between the fare which has been travelled and not yet travelled.
The fare is returned:
a) when a lost travel card is found, if the passenger has already purchased a new travel card.
b) in the case of such an injury in the area of Horní Domky that does not allow the use of a valid ticket documented by a medical certificate.
c) if the transport capacity in the Horní Domky ski area drops by more than 50 % for more than 1.5 hours.
Art. 5 - Transport of prams and bicycles
The transport of baby prams and bicycles is permitted on the cableway Horní Domky only during the summer.
Art. 6 - Transport of persons with reduced mobility, transport of persons in wheelchairs
Persons with reduced mobility and persons in wheelchairs shall notify the cableway personnel of this fact and agree in advance on the options and way of transport with regard to their type of disability. These persons may only be transported only when accompanied. The accompanying person must be able to provide the transported person with the necessary assistance during the transport. If these persons need special assistance or the use of special equipment, this must be in accordance with the operator's operational conditions and capabilities, so as not to endanger their own safety and safety of other passengers.
Art. 7 - Transport of children
Children under 1.25 m in height may only be transported when accompanied. The accompanying person must be able to provide the necessary assistance to children transported and may have a maximum of two children shorter than 1.25m
Transport of groups of children must be requested and may be the subject of a separate agreement with the cableway operator.
Art. 8 - Relations between the carrier and passengers
1. Obligations of the carrier:
Transport passengers during opening hours with a valid cableway ticket.
This does not apply:
in case of bad climatic conditions (frost, strong wind, thunderstorm, etc.), when the operator is obliged to limit transport capacity or close the cableway, protecting the passenger safety.
in the event of cableway breakdown or power failure.
for persons who threaten security or public order because of their condition or behaviour
In these cases, the fare is not refundable.

2. Obligations of passengers:
to have a valid ticket and to present it at the request of the authorized person of the carrier,
to obey the instructions of the authorized person of the carrier and the pictograms on the cableway,
during getting on, transport and getting off, passengers must behave in such a way that they do not endanger their own safety, the safety of other passengers, or the cableway equipment and thus do not interfere with the course of operation.
upon getting on the cableway, to immediately secure with anti-falling-off device (bar) on the chairlift and open it before getting off,
passengers needing assistance when getting on or off must notify the cableway personnel at the station or obviously demonstrate it in another appropriate manner,
if passengers are carried with skis or snowboard on, the tips must be lifted and held parallel to the direction of the ride and placed on the footrests,
it is forbidden to transport skiers and foot passengers on the chairs of one car - in winter the transport on the cableway is only possible with skis or snowboard on.
when transporting foot passengers (in winter or summer) a maximum of two persons per cableway car is allowed.
3. In particular, passengers are not allowed:
a) open the anti-falling-off device during the ride,
b) throw objects out of the car or let them protrude,
c) lean out from the car or swing during the ride,
d) smoke in the car or in passenger areas where smoking is not permitted,
e) behave noisily, play loud music or sing loud, use loud audio-visual equipment or harass other passengers with other inappropriate behaviour,
f) damage the car, as well as passenger areas and facilities;
g) bring to the car any item which must not be carried in the luggage.
4. If the passenger threatens the carrier's authorized person by violating his obligations, it is an offence according to Act No. 200/1990 Coll., on Offences.
Art. 9 - Relations between the carrier and passengers Use of safety, communication and control equipment
Passengers may only use safety, communication and control devices located in places accessible to the public if such devices are intended for passenger use, in the following cases:
a) if there is an imminent danger to life or health;
b) if it is necessary to make an emergency stop for serious reasons, such as public disorder or imminent danger to life or health
Art. 10 - Conditions for the transport of luggage and live animals
Passengers can carry one piece of hand luggage (easy to carry, storable, not requiring the assistance of the carrier's authorized person) along with one set of ski equipment. Carriage of other types of luggage may be permitted if this does not jeopardize the safety of persons and the cableway facilities.
Animals shall be transported in a box. As far as the dog is concerned, it must not be released from the leash during the transport, must have a muzzle and must not endanger the passengers or the authorized person of the carrier or be a nuisance to other passengers. If animals are transported in a box, this should not exceed the hand luggage parameters.
It is prohibited to carry: The luggage shall not contain objects which, by their nature, may cause damage to the car or the cableway facilities, harm to the life and health of persons or their property, and bulky objects.
Art. 11 - Behaviour of passengers on escalators
The shoes of the passengers must not scrape against the plinth sheets.
Passengers with skis must hold skis and poles in one hand and hold on to the handles with the second hand.
Passengers with the children must hold the child's hand with one hand and hold on to the handles with the second hand.
Passengers with animals (dog, cat) must hold the animal in arms and hold on to the handles with the second hand.
The escalator must not be used by persons with prams, persons in wheelchairs or persons with walking aids (crutches, etc.)
Transporting bicycles is prohibited on escalators.
Children must not play on or near escalators without supervision.
Barefoot persons must not enter the escalator.
No person may use the escalator going downwards to go upwards and the escalator going upwards to go downwards.
Passengers must raise feet when getting on or off the escalator.
During the operation of the escalator, no persons may sit on the belt of stairs, run up and down the escalator, nor approach their hands, feet, garments and laces from shoes to plinth sheets.
Heavy and bulky loads are not transported on the escalator.
Passengers must immediately leave the entrance and exit of the escalator.
Art. 12 - Amendments and additions
Amendments and additions will be described in the annex to the Transport Regulations.
Art. 13 - Final provisions
These contractual transport conditions are valid for the transport of passengers and luggage on the cableway Horní Domky near Spartak Rokytnice, a.s. from 1.7.2017.
